Launch of a New UFO Science – (Very) Local SETI

In October 2013, I attended a meeting led by Mark Rodeghier, scientific director of the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies, and political scientist Alexander Wendt, whom some of you might recognize as a co-author of the chapter "Militant Agnosticism and the UFO Taboo" from my book, to solidify a new, rigorously scientific approach to the UFO problem. Rodeghier and Wendt have since formed a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization called UFO Detection and TrAcking (UFODATA for short), which includes an international team of scientists and engineers with an interest in UFOs, including (among others) Massimo Teodorani, Dave Akers and Erling Strand, as well as several academic "silent partners" who do not want to be publicly identified. "We are establishing this project out of frustration with the impasse that the UFO debate has been at for over sixty years," Wendt says.

I acknowledge my own current involvement: I accepted Rodeghier and Wendt's invitation to join their Board of Directors, along with Philippe Ailleris, Project Controller at the Space Research and Technology Centre of the European Space Agency.

The organization has one goal and one goal only: to design, build and deploy a global network of automated surveillance stations that will monitor the skies full time looking for UFOs.

UFO and ‘potential aliens’ sighted by villagers in India.

Villagers have been left stumped after a claiming to have seen UFO and a “humanoid figure”.

The unidentified figure was spotted by agricultural workers in Kanagal village in Periyapatna taluk of Mysuru district at around 2pm on Thursday, as they worked in fields.

They said the figure came towards them from a red spacecraft that emerged from the clouds.

It allegedly took off just seconds after landing and there were flashes and sparks around it.

Keeping an eye on NASA is something I find important. A scientific organization that hides alien evidence rather than reports it can not be trusted. 

I was watching the space station live cam when I noticed the camera switch to a new camera. Then the camera began to swing to the left until it focused on a white oval between it and Earth. The object had matched its speed with the space station. The camera then continued to zoom closer and closer, but all we could see was a glowing white oval. The vibrate light from the UFO was so powerful that even NASAs new seven million dollar HD cameras could not focus on it. Foo fighter checking out the space station? 

Now I will message @NASA and @NASA_Astronauts to see if they can tell us about this UFO. Cross your fingers.
